I checked the trade in value of my 2012 RK and it sucks.

Are the stealerships giving decent(fair) trade in values for 1 or 2 year old bikes?

depends on your dealer I paid 22k for my RGU 7 months ago and got 21K for it in trade plus was refunded my money I paid for gap and the money I paid for my ESP warranty and that money went right to the down payment column

I actually saw his old bike and they had a price of $19,600 on the 2013.

Someone who only rides 113 miles in three months should probably just stick with what they have. I test drove the Street Glide Special and I still did find that much special over the 2013 bikes. The new seat alone made the ride very uncomfortable.
Someone who rides 113 miles in 3 months should just buy a picture of a bike and hang it on the wall.

Not knowing the buyer's story/history on 2013 and 2014 upgrade - can't really comment. Look at it this way, see if the dealer will offer-up the owner's name and call them when 2015's hit the floor next year - might be a great way for you to move into a "2014 garage queen."

Lots of negative comments on people trading in perfectly good 2011 or newer on the new 2014 bikes.
To some people, that expense is not much more than pocket change.
As to the OP and the 113 mile 2013. There is some one out there that is going to LOVE finding that beauty in the showroom at a huge discount. Hell it is still under warranty.

I agree. I have 2 Porsche's, and have been part of a particular forum since 2008. You do get tired of the BS after a while and just stop going. Why some people feel the need to bash others is just beyond me. In the case of the OP, who cares if he has 1 mile or 10,000 miles? If one can afford to make a purchase then more power to him.

We do know his history... he gave it to us a few posts into the thread!!!

Unless I read it wrong, silverbullit IS the man who traded in the 2013 for the 2014 in Little Rock. Personally, I was thrilled to see him post and say that was him. I'm glad to see Silver, rather tactfully I might add, call someone out for their snarky post in here...

I've had a 2013 SG for two months that will be very soon replaced by a 2014. Love the Bike but a damn Deer destroyed it (and me).
