I went with the wo578s and so love them. On my trip this year it seemed a lot more comfortable on the longer days. Love the look and actually liked a little more of the width too. I went with a +2 clutch cable and ran everything else through the bars and worked good.

In the wind issue I think you get less with your hands right at the top of the fairing than the stock bars

ok guys, looking at putting some 10" bars on also. how hard is it to do it yourself. i have 2013 limited with heated grips. not the best wrencher in the world so a little worried about heading down that road.

To me it was worth having an indy swap mine for 110.00. Much easier on softtails than ours

Wow, I put a set of 10" ergo backs on my Dad's 2009 tri glide and a set of HD 12" mini apes on my 2013 street glide (less than two weeks old) no need for any change to cables or wires and just had to reroute the clutch cable on the SG so it fit closer inside the fairing and remove the zip tie for the brake cable. Both TBW, both green plug throttle, both touring fairing setup. No extended cables, no splicing wires. Only cost was the bars and sweat from several hours of labor.
