How much more power are you wanting? Plenty of options if you want to spend, my 2010 street glide feels like it has plenty of power!

awesome, that's all the stuff i wanted to hear, naturally i don't want my SG to feel and act like a Dyna, it's 200 pounds more, duh, haha, but i had a feeling it's gonna have to be cams next. gotta call fuel moto and see what we could put in there. not gonna lie, 117" sounds good man, but out of the question right now. i think i can do some good upgrading for 2 grand and then see.

so what sort of cams are you guys running?

and thanks a ton for the great help

i felt the same way when i bought a new 13 streetglide. the thing is a dog. my comparison is my 07 electraglide police. basically the same, 103/6 speed. i added the aircleaner, and V&H throttlepak, with little oomph added.

After checking the transmission ratios and pulley teeth, i think the oomph is in the gearing. my 07 is much more fun around town, with plenty of acceleration while the 13 is kind of lame around town.

when convenient, i 'm going to change pulley sizes to give the 13 (2 months old and 4000 miles) some off the line oomph.

of course, i'd still love to change cams in both too.

Yes, cubic inches is the way to go for a bagger if you want big increase in Ooomph. I also agree that cam will help a lot, but I wouldn't bother with cams until you get rid of those true duals. True duals actually make less HP and torque than the stock pipe. (I have the dyno sheets to prove it from when I added true duals to my old 110" build.) 2 into 1 pipe with cams will make a noticeable improvement. If you're in the mood to break the bank, do the 117 build cycler mentioned or go with a 120R like mine, A bagger pushing 135+ hp will take most Dyna's you should run into.

That's what i thought. Yeah, wish i had known about true duals, i went for the balanced look. Now i don't give a damn about that, lol. If all goes well i'll do pipes and cams, the 120" is like a 10 grand job with labor, isn't it??!!

The thing about true duals is, they sound better than anything else.

You can probably get a 120R done for around 7-8 depending on the time of year. (Best labor deals start in early November usually.) Far less if you can do the engine swap yourself.

Seriously look into Fuel Moto's 117" build like Cycler has. I think it is far less expensive and makes more power.
