It's been touched on in other posts, but I haven't seen a definitive answer on this. Has anyone with the new 4.3 Stereo unit been able to pair a Sena BT SMH-10 headset with the 4.3. I've played with a 4.3 at the dealer and can pair a IPhone and GPS to the stereo. It recognizes my Sena BT headset but won't pair to the Sena headset to stream to it. Thanks, Al
I have been wondering the same myself Al as I have a Sena also.. Not to hijack your thread but can you tell me when pairing the GPS to the radio , did the music cut out and you could hear the GPS thru the bikes speakers?

I never got that involved with it. I was told that the 4.3 was not BT. Just had to find out for myself. With that settled, then the question was will it stream BT to my headset or is it a " receive only" and only transmit through the wired headset and speakers. I find it hard to believe that it is only wired. I use a Sena SR10 adapter on my Heritage that will stream my CB, GPS, phone and a MP3.
Someone has to know. AL
From what I gather after reading the different posts here is that it will pair all day long to phones and GPS but will not pair to BT headsets of any brand. It sounds like you'll need the Sena SM10. The Harley radio should pair to the SM10 adaptor and then the SM10 will then pair to your headsets....I think..lol. The adaptor is what I'm looking at to get both our BT headsets to listen to XM radio from Zumo 665 at the same time.
One article (on-line magazine) states: It features the industry’s first voice-command control, meaning with the proper headset and microphone the rider (or passenger) can ask the GPS for directions, make or answer phone calls and select and/or adjust music just by speaking. Conveniently, a rider can also choose to have GPS and phone audio directed into helmet-mounted speakers while his music still pumps from the fairing via the 25 watts per channel audio system.

I have the SR10, which is basically the SM10, but will accept CB radio to BT. Sena makes a 7 pin cord to go from the HD 7 pin tank connection to the SM10 or SR10. You can then stream BT from the Sena to a BT headset. BUT..now you've got a wire and adapter to deal with somewhere on your bike or tank.
For $25,000 with a " whiz bang greatest infotainment system in the world", it's pretty disappointing that it can't stream BT, wirelessly, to a headset. I sincerely hope that someone can prove me wrong!

I know when the new BMW came out with bluetooth it wouldnt stream to the Sena or any other brand, only the BMW bluetooth worked. I think it does work now though. Maybe Harley is coming out with one of their own fora zillion dollars....I hope not

I was thinking the same thing. You can buy the Sena SMH5 for under a$100, and the SMH 10 for around $150....stick a HD logo on it...$295!
Was told at local dealer demo ya must use plug in headset. BT does not work with headsets yet? Or is it that HD doesn't offer BT headset? Also said both the new radios have BT.
