Default Looking at New air cleaner options.
Curently I have the SE heavy breather, just getting kind of tired of it sticking out so far. Options I looked into were the PM super gas, or Ziipers max flow. I am leaning toward the Zippers. I don't know if I can justify the $350 for the PM then $40 for a rain sock. Any advice, opinions, or ideas welcome.

I'm considering this one for my '12 FLHR, if it'll fit.
Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather Elite Performance Air Cleaner Kit-29400173
New for '14. Supposed to give more clearance and looks pretty good.

K&N offers one that claims 10 hp increase and fits under the stock cover. 100 bucks. K&N lists it for 200 but my buddy found it for 100 bucks, on Amazon IIRC.

Skip the rain sock, it will save you $40. I've never found the need for one.

Been running the K&N VO2 Naked, stock cover fits over it. Thought about a different cover but. Like my OEM cover I had Powdercoated gloss black then put the police emblem back on. Cop bike:

This is the one I have on my 2003 FXSTDI and it definitely hits my knee.




Almost to the point of being uncomfortable.

I have a Doherty Machine Power Pak. It incorporates a built in velocity stack and uses a K&N type oiled gauze filter. It is a very well built unit. Worth looking at...
