right now, i have a cool low-profile, dark-tint detachable windshield on my RK Custom.

i was given a standard-sized, clear windshield that was never used, but doesn't have any mounting brackets or hardware at all. i would like to find the mounting hardware for the clear windshield so i can switch between it and the dark one whenever i want, as quickly and easily as possible. my wife talked to the local dealer and after he figured out all of the parts i would need and added up the cost - it came out to almost as much as a brand new complete windshield. this can't be right, can it?

all i need is the bracket - it seems that the actual Lexan windshield would be the most expensive part of the puzzle.

does anyone know where i can get JUST the bracket for the windshield without paying an arm and leg for it?

(remember - i'm a newbie and don't really know what i'm talking about most of the time - LOL)

 

Every now and then EBAY has scratched windshields for cheap, you could buy own and replace the lexan with yours. I did to make a cut down summer shield
