Default heratige windshield

Hey guys, 09 heratige softail, wondering if there is any way to get a couple more inches on the windshield, been looking at it and it's smarter than I am. Any ideas are greatly appreciated, Thanks

you want to 'get' a couple of inches on the windshield?
Are you asking how to 'add' to the windshield?
you say it is 'smarter' than you?

I'm confused...is it just me?

I believe the question is... "I want to adjust my windshield up, by about 2 inches, how would I do that?"

As far as I know, you can not adjust (move) the entire windshield up. You will have to physically replace the entire windshield. You can just order the "glass", and use the exsisting mounting hardware & stiffners.

I think that Memphis Shade has the best windshields around... IMO!

One of the first mods I did on my’13 was a bigger windshield, the stock had my head right in the buffet zone, couldn’t read signs. I also went with a light smoke tint. Not knowing better I just went to the dealer and bought it.
now I don’t know what the larger windshield does to my gas mileage but I’m happy.

After I put the sprung solo seat on my ‘19 Heritage I had to go from the stock 18” shield to a 21” shield, and that’s barely high enough. A 22-23” would be better if there was one available.

That’s what raising the seat height gets you.
