Why would they confuse such a simple thing like the horn
If this is true, it means ALL 14's will have the same horn issue im having. I havent heard anything else about it, other than the person above with the SG.
I guess i might be the only one on here who actually uses/relies on their horn ... but can someone else with a 14 please toot their horn a bit and see if its responsive, or delayed, etc
..please don't think you're the only one that finds that annoying..my mobile work office is a 2012 Dodge Caravan,(POS, NEVER buy one for your family)...and it has the SAME issue...there is NO WAY to give someone a quick little, respectful, toot to wake them up when the light changes and they are looking down..NOOOOO...you have to give them a big blast of horn..cause that's the way the factory made it...sucks..
That's how can bus systems work, saving wire and taking load off of switches and the bcm does the work. Not new technology, just new to touring bikes. Mike
Can someone please tell me any solutions or suggestions for this issue, which may add responsiveness to my horn switch?
Is there an alternate switch i can buy?
Happened again today where I was riding left of someone and he began weaving, i went to get a toot and the delay seemed like it really effected my ability to alert him in time.
Or should i just rip this entire horn system out and add my own aftermarket system? Is that even possible?
Im at a loss, but absolutely must improve my horn. I rely on it heavily when riding through NYC daily
