2014 sgs suspension
can anyone who had an older street glide tell me if the new rear shocks are really better than the older ones? i have a 2010 and it bottoms out all the time i have also rode a 2012 and it rode the same as mine so i really want to know if the new ones are better thanks!

The '14 Street Glide Special uses the Harley Premium Hand Adjustable Shocks, and not the standard air shocks you have.
And yes, the ride is that much better.
You can put those same shocks on your '12 Street Glide.
I have them on my '11 and they are a huge improvement.

I have almost 600 miles on my new Flhxs and the new premium shocks. After putting on over 30k on my 2010 glide with the airshocks and constantly adjusting them trying to find the perfect pressure I can really feel the difference, a much smoother ride, and I have left the settings the same as when I purchased it. no adjustments needed.
