I loved my Cobra Tuner on my 2011 and had no problems at all with it. Made my Street glide run cooler. I ended up getting a screaming eagle tuner so that I could do a full tune and adjustment with timing. I actually have mine for sale on craigslist right now. It will fit any touring bike from 2010-2013. I am to new of a member here to post in the classifieds.
I know it`s been awhile, but do you still have it for sale? PM me if you do.
Do you mean that the bike needs a minute or two to adjust itself every time I run the bike? Or only needed the first time?
Every time you turn your ignition off it goes to zero and has to "learn" all over again. Often times at the gas pumps I'll leave my bike ignition on with run switch off just to keep tuner up for that reason. When I did the dyno on my original post we ran the bike really easy for about a minute before making that pull and that was it. Doesn't seem to take long. Hope that helps.
Thanks to everyone for all the posts. Its cool to see it helps out others as I know how helpful this forum has been to me.
I've tried, but can't make my mind up on a tuner....so in reading this post, I have a couple questions.
1. For those who are not using the oxygen sensors, did you use an oxygen sensor eliminator in the plug coming out of the factory ECM? I have an '11 Ultra Classic, and I'd like to put an '09 headpipe on and plug the 18mm bung fittnings - no catalytic convertor or oxygen sensors - just the factory ECM and the Powrpro. Am I understanding this correctly?
2. The instructions for the Powrpro state that there is a male and female plug for each of the oxygen sensors, but I guess that's not to take any readings from them, just to "ignore" them? If I'm understanding correctly, the unit changes fueling by readings from the crank only.

Have the Cobra and happy with it. I was told by the tech to to run thru the gears, like entering onto the freeway type speed and the Cobra takes over from there. 42 mpg here with Feuling 525 cams. I have had two other tuners and had to dial them every time I made a change to the bike's motor. Cobra, just get on the bike and go.
I hear what you're saying, but lets say I stop to eat, turn ignition off. Now I need to run it how long before it learns again, and this happens every time the ignition is turned off? Depending on the answer this might be a game changer. The Fi2000 should have a save stored adding a memory eliminating this on going inconvenience.
What do you say Cobra about an system up grade possibility around the corner perhaps?
Did some research over past few months, and became extremely impressed with my findings. Long story short, purchased Cobra Fi2000w/AT.
I'm running Fi2000 w/AT on my 2012, also added Cobra PowrFlo air intake system and 4" Rinehart's w/ gutted cat. Runs unbelievable from idle to any speed, I'm extremely impressed. Best plug and play system on the market, adjusts automatically to any condition, from two up cruising up in Denver to kicking around downtown at sea level in Tampa. Awesome!!!

Glad you like it. Since my last post I have traded my bike in on a Triglide. I am using the Fuelpac tuner which is an auto tuner. Can use your smart phone to change maps or change other settings. I am happy with it but I keep thinking about the Cobra. No maps ,no settings, just start the bike up and go. It did its own adjustments as you rode.
