Thanks. Here is why I asked. I sold a set of new speaker pods on eBay. Now after I am gone he wants a refund because they won't fit his 1986 bike. I didn't think they even made speakers for that year. He filed a complaint through Paypal and they froze $207 of my money. I'm disputing it on these grounds and also since he never asked any questions before inning the bid. We'll see what happens.
If I was home, I would gladly accept a refund but there is no way I can deal with this now.
They should be able to bolt up on an '86 tour pack. I have mounted a set on an 85 TP before. Tied speakers into front outputs. Didn't add much sound but they fit.
