maybe the IBA can come up with a run like this for those of us over 65 y.o.--maybe allow a few days longer. i can still do a long day or two in a row, but need a day or 2 thrown in for rest/recuperation. i have been riding since '72 and still have only been in 43 states. i am not going to add a trip like that to my bucket list!
you should be very proud of your self...a true adventure of a life time. what's next-maybe run up thru alaska and dip your toes in the artic ocean?
What a great trip that was! Wow......I've did one iron butt (single day, 1,000), but can only imagine a trip like this! Thanks for sharing your trip and for the great write-up!
Congratulations on your successful ride of a lifetime.....

That's already planned for next summer... only this time, there are a group of us going and i'm not doing it solo. Just need to hold the Girlfriend off long enough to sneak it in first. i figure if i do get married, i'll have to go to Hawaii and Rent a bike so i can claim all 50 states after that.... hmmm maybe marriage is an OK trade off for that?
Ok - you win! Epic ride! I am taking my time reading this - I'm only to the Bronx. I look forward to the rest. Congrats on an amazing ride - AND taking pictures along the way. Wow!
