I gotta kick out of it! Funny stuff! I had 1300 miles on mine before i got back to do the first oil change in all 3 reservoirs...nothing serious and all fluids were clean. I rode tripped mine after 200 miles but took it easy enough. I got 2500 miles on it and wouldn't even know where red line was!

I'm not sure people picked up on the sarcasm in the OP.

But did you do the burnout that's required to properly break in the seals and rear tire?

How often do you change the air in your tires?

I read on the interwebs that if you use nitrogen instead of regular air, you can go 10k between air changes.

I drained out the engine oil in mine, then rode it for fifteen minutes to get it red hot. Then let it cool to the touch then refill with Amsoil Lucius, redline mix. I also use Amsoil in my tires as it adds cushion to the ride, just make sure it's 90 weight if your over 200 lbs.

Don't forget to re-pack the muffler bearings as Harley still hasn't switched to a sealed cartridge design... i hear that'll be coming on the 2015's but only on the CVO's

Real good tips on here. Good to know.
Change air in tires every ten thousand, drain oil ride for fifteen minutes, fill tires with Amsoil, Long uphill climbs slow speed in 5th gear. Man these are all GREAT tips!
