I like the color, but it would look much better if they had put a thin silver pin stripe outlining the black swoosh stripe. It just looks too plain to me.
The way they did the Pewter Pearl with the orange pin stripe outlining the black swoosh looks really good!!!! Sometimes just the slightest accent can make a world of difference.
I have an 05 in Black Cherry and really like it although I wish the stupid stripes lined up. I am holding out for a SE Road Glide and am hoping to see one come out in 08 and would love to see it have a paint job similar to 2000-2001 models.
Pure Harley Davidson colors is what I think. So I bought one. When I think about the color line up for 2007 Road Glides this is the winner. But beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
Saw one at the dealer and really liked it. Didn't like when I sawpictures on HD's web site, but it looks great in person. If I was buying one, that would be it.
EARL SMALLS HD in marietta ga. has one on the showroom floor, its a love it or hate it color, I wanted one for awhile but went with pewter pearl , it looks good but my feeling its a grow on you color.
Well as you can see = Colors are a very personal thing = and thats a Good thing - Life would be very boring if we all liked the same color - like if we all dressed in Black leather - lol
