I usethe cable lock (master lock) that came with a Mossberg shotgun. Works great for two helmets and was free.It is light and easy to store. A thiefcould cut it with bolt cutters but I figure some protection is better than nothing at all.
where do they fasten on the EG trunk????the GW has trunk locks for these.....just wondering??? they are a great idea.....just can't see how they hook-up on the EG....unless they're some type of tube lock set-up...

i took the ones that would bolt around the crash bar or whatever and bolted the lock half ( flat part) thru the bottom of the trunk in teh recess near the rear. can harddly see them. they blend in with the luggage rack. 17 bucks each.

When I'm not running the tour pac on my RG, I usually lock my helmet up by just sticking the D ring end of the strap over the edge of the saddle bag and locking the saddle bag. The jacket goes inside the saddle bag if I don't need it.
