Default It's getting cold - Put Gigantor on today.
I had to run to the store for milk and coffee, so what's a guy to do, jump on the bike and go to a grocery store 30 miles away, LOL. Before I took off for my chilly ride, I put on my Giant 15" Memphis Shades shield. It kinda looks dorky, but boy does it help with the cold, and wow, what a quiet ride, hardly any wind in my ears.

Pic with bugs and all.

Those big shields look hideous on a batwing

Yeah, I know, but the function for this time of year trumps the looks. My wife tells me that the big shield makes it ever more geezer like, LOL

When it gets cold I switch from my 1/2 helmet to a modular full face that makes a hugh difference.

When it gets cold I put it in the garage and walk in the house. It's nice and toasty in there.

I never changed my big stock windshield yet. I don't care how it looks, (I think it looks fine) keeps the wind off your ears. Like you I went for milk and gas to a station 3 miles away, but it took me 10 miles to get there and 21 miles to get home! Tall shield helped with the cold air.

When it gets cold down here, I "bundle" up with a long sleeve shirt and go for a ride cause it might be all the way down to 60. Brrrrrr.

Thats what I was thinking, it was a low of 70 this morning when I went to work.
