If the budget will only allow an upgrade of the Boom! speakers OR the Amp, which would be the better way to go?
Can the stock speakers utilize the increased watts of the better amp or would I get a bigger bang for my buck by upgrading the speakers and leaving the rest of the system as is?
I doubt the stock speakers would be able to handle the additional wattage of an amp. The best bet if you can only do one would be to just do the speakers and save up for an amp. My buddy only upgraded the speakers on his and now he says there's no need for an amp.
I just upgraded my 05 to Booms as well as packing them with poly fill and noticed a significant difference. Probably won't bother with an amp at this point now.
