I have 1K miles on my 14 SGS and LOVE IT! Power is good, handling is good, brakes are good. Only issue I have is with the volume control on the left hand controls. It has frozen on me 3 times, requires me to turn the bike off and then back on to clear it. It just stops controlling the volume but the radio still plays fine. Only annoying, not really a huge deal. HD dealer can't find the problem I suspect it's software related. Anyone else see this and has anyone done a USB software update that fixed anything? Stage 1 coming as soon as Fuel Moto gets more coated headers and a PV map built.

Definitely a software issue. There will be bugs with these significant changes, good luck with your new bike.
Sorry but I disagree, I felt a definite improvement over 13 and older SG handling.
The internals are very poor performing, same as a Dyna as they are the same. I did not say that the 2014 would not handle better than the 1986~2013 FLT, of course it would. If you have ever read any of my posts in the last three years I discussed this upgrade extensively. The upgrade is having 49mm fork tubes with top clamped triple trees. I also stated that this internal suspension ie: damper rods are the same as the 49mm Dynas. The suspension will be just as bad as it is on a Dyna. That part is not very good. I have taken these 49mm forks apart and modified many with several different levels of quality parts. Better than the 2013's & similar with the top slip fit bolt through the top of the triple tree, but good total suspension package, no, not by any stretch of the imagination. Please read my many posts over the years or just this one.
I have read many posts concerning the clamped triple tree in the past and many here (HDF Members) said it was not warranted, this 2014 bike proves those members wrong on the rigidity issue.

That's awesome but way more then I need to know at this point. I am not purchasing a 2014 I simply test drove one and let others know how they feel compared to the older model. Have a good day and keep up your great work.
