oil filter
Well after all these years had a 1st this afternoon----was changing oil on the FLHTC and when I took off the oil filter the two threaded bolt that is part of the oil plate, that the filter screws onto, came off with the old filter---got it off the old filter and screwed it back into the plate--then put the new filter on--question is, will this cause any problems??? and what caused it??? was it just not in the plate tight enough??? changed alot of oil on alot of scoots and never had this happen---thanks kids-----

If you just installed it without loctite I would think about going back in and removing both and putting some on loc tite on them and installing them again. Then you will not have to think about it anymore.
