They are so much more enjoyable to ride with the CAT removed. I love my 2010 FLHTCU. Like others have said it's time for a battery change.

I picked her up last friday at noon and then went back to work. She almost didn't start after work so I called the dealership and they told me to come right down and they unstalled a new battery in her for me so the battery replacement is done...

Good of the dealer to make that right!
The bike should have had a break light recall as mentioned, but you might want to verify with the dealer.
Also an oil cooler might not be a bad idea if it doesn't have one. And if it has the stock rear air shocks maybe a good hand pump to help adjust the ride for your needs.

Your biggest issue will probably be the fact that you won't wanna get off of it once you start putting some miles on.

I have one and watch the boards for issues. From what I have seen, the brake light recall, the gas tank bolt recall. Keep an eye on hardware fasteners, you will find the loose one once in a while. The last ones on mine were the bag guards. Lost the bolts out of one muffler hanger and the other one was loose before i caught it.Watch the wheel bearings for streaks leading away from the seals, they fail frequently. General opinion is that the transmission fares better with gear oil then it does with motor oil. The repairs on mine were the outside temp gauge quit twice, failed seal on the rear shock, puked oil, cover on the passenger headset turned up AWOL. The radio is getting wonky, but hasn't quit yet. I put the Fuel Moto head pipe on to eliminate that heat, and you will notice a definite increase in bark from the tailpipes from that and added the oil cooler as well for some additional cooling in the heat. The compensator is starting to get noisy, hoping the newest revision is the actual cure for comp problems. If you have the earlier style seat, what was referred to as the 2009.5 seat, the later, lower seat is more comfy I thought then the seats that came on the early 2010's. Watch for an oil leak from the trans cover on the exhaust side at the hanger for the head pipe. The bolts loosen and a leak starts, you will notice the smell of hot burnt oil. I found that long ball tip Allen's from Kobalt will reach to re torque to the new spec without taking off exhaust header. Watch the front master cylinder cover for leakage, if it drips or spatters on the paint it will damage it.

I have a 2010. Here are the things to watch / upgrade:
  • If not done already, have the dealer complete the rear brake recall
  • Check the compensator, you'll want to put in the SE compensator ASAP if your '10 doesn't have it installed already.
  • Upgrade that poor, weakly 96" TC to a FM107. The FM107 was the best upgrade I've made to my bike yet.
  • Put in compression releases if you upgrade your engine or cam, manuals are fine.

Congrats on the new bike.

Brake light switch recall and a battery just last week in my 2010 96" Street Glide. Other than that, the 10's were the last of the twin cams with actual rod bushings instead of just a honing and a few other changes made in 2011 that are not necessarily great changes. Nothing terrible, just some things done to save a few pennies that can cost one down the line. You did good and will enjoy the bike. Pretty much bullet proof!

Thanks for all of the info. All of the recalls were already done by the dealership I got her from. Other than the battery the only problem I have which will take a while to repair is the smile on my face...LOL.
