Default Sotftail rear nightrtain wheel on '09 EG??

Will a nightrain softail wheel fit on my '09 EG? figure I'd have to ditch the "cush drive" and get a different pulley but would the spacing pulley/disc line up?

Let me try again...I want to put a softail night train 17" X 6" mirror disc wheel (and sportster bolt-on 68 tooth sprocket) on my '09 EG? I know the wheel bearings and left spacer are the same and guys are running 200 tires on newer touring bikes. I'm thinking the wheels have the same sprocket/rotor spacing and offset but don't know for sure. I know I'd lose the cush drive but most aftermarket wheels don't use it. They come with bolt on sprockets like softails and dynas. Has anyone put a softail wheel on an '09 up touring bike?? I have a Fatboy wheel on my '00 Roadking and it was basicly a bolt on. Don't know about the '09 up bikes?

It worked!! Used a sportster pulley, 5/8" rotor spacer along with custom spacers. Fit good. Don't miss the Cush drive.

Well primary's held up fine without them for the last 100+ years... If the compensator goes bad again, I'll get a baker one. I already have a manual adjuster. Guess I'llsee...

Sure, I suppose, but it was added for a reason, and I cant imagine that the moco adds costs for no reason.

Whatever tho, I hope it works out for ya, and you stay safe.
