Default Power vision ?

I talked to Don at Fuel Moto about upgrading my 2012 RGU. I am tired of the heat and pinging when I open the throttle. So I am going with the power vision and am going to remove the cat. My question is , does the PV marry itself to the bike when a map is downloaded? If not, what keeps some one from downloading maps off a common PV. I talked to Don for about 30 min but forgot to ask him about this. I sure it is a dumbass ?, but I had a PC3 on my street glide and that unit attached to the bike, as I understand this the PV downloads onto the Harley ECM. Thanks for your help

The PV does marry itself to the ECM.

Good choice the PV is a great easy to use unit. It does marry to the ECM but additional Licenses can be purchased to allow you to use it on another bike as well. Even with out the additional licenses you can use your PV to check codes on any other HD.

The flashes the ECM and then can be removed from the bike or if you want it can stay on to monitor in real time as you ride.

Very good tuner. Easy to use. Can't really go wrong, and with FM support, you will be in good hands.

I recently picked up a power vision from Fuel Moto. Called them up told them what I was doing, Two days later it showed up with the map loaded, I loaded it onto the bike and it ran great. A month later I did a Cam. Used thier website, got a new map, loaded it up, ran spot on. Figured I cheated the dealer out of a couple hundred bucks at least on dyno time

You will enjoy the Power vision yes it is locked to your bike.
You can load your map and take it off, or leave it on and take advantage of the many tools it has. Try to keep it out of the rain.
Great part about buying from Fuel Mot is their map support.
