I don't have them (yet), but I would most likely use one side for a pair of gloves and winter hat, and the other maybe for a micro fiber towel to clean the carnage off of the front end, or drying the seat off.

I got the Hog Trough locking doors for my lower fairings. I have the drink holder on the left door.

I found these nifty little leather pouches at the motorcycle leather store for his & hers goggle storage. I keep my tinted and clear goggles in the left fairing and similarly keep two pairs for my gal in the right side fairing. Then one pair isn't floating around in a saddlebag or tour pak while wearing the other. Keeps them from getting scratched up or broken. A pouch with two pairs of goggles will easily fit in the lower pocket on each side. It's a great place to keep them stored while not riding. We always have them with us that way and neither pair will ever be accidently left at home.

Sucks to ride in the dark with tinted goggles when you forget your clears. We've broken, lost, or had goggles stolen so we don't like to spend the money for the more expensive "transition" type lenses that work in any lighting. Storing goggles in the lower pockets has worked great for us!

Maybe I will run the phone usb cord down to the right pocket? thxs for any idea, paul
I don't use mine for much of anything. Be careful putting your phone in there, as they are not waterproof.

+1, usually my wallet, phone, key fob, gloves, whatever fits that I want easy access to without having to go into my saddlebags. Plus I have the magnetic doors so it makes it super easy. I highly recommend those. Downside is you can't lock anything in there but usually don't anyhow. Wallet, phone, and key fob go with me.
