Default Brake Light Flasher
I am planning on using a brake light flasher and tapping into the red wire with white stripe which I understand is the brake light wire.
Should I tap into it on the tank side of the run/brake/turn module or on the fender side?

I can't remember which wire I tapped into but I did it on the fender side by the kickstand. Used a meter to find the correct wire and It's been working well for several years. Anything that helps to be seen is good in my book.

I installed a Custom Dynamics unit on my 07 & it was plug & play, no splicing.
May want to consider theirs ...

+1 customer dynamics, versatile, plug and play, no cutting. Not too expensive. Good luck. More lights, more lights.

mine is the "triple play" controller

Fast Forward this Video to 40seconds to see the brakes..... I have a video just for the brakes, but this camera picked up the flash rate better.....

Do it right the first time and go get yourself a BAL1, it melts the retnas of the people behind you and is WELL worth the price. By far the best investment I have made for Big Red besides the TLPH7 set I added.
