Default Plastidip

Looked into plastidip and looked neat, was thinking about doing the matte black to change the bike up a bit ... Anybody got experience, feedback, best way to go about it?

clean and dry before trying. The oils on your skin will keep the "paint" from sticking. Multiple thin coats and tape an edge

Very durable, They recommend six thin coats and let dry between coats. It is self leveling and you can peel it off if you don't like it. I did the rocker panels on my wife's expedition and they came out great. There is a web site called Dip my car. Very good stuff.

Plastic dip has lots of fans. It is DIY and relatively inexpensive. It is a pretty tough coating, looks good from a couple feet away, and if you do not like it, it can be easily pealed off.

I used Platidip a few years ago and dipped the handles of some of my dad's old hand tools in to keep them from rusting. You do have to have an ultra clean surface before you dip, other wise it does not stick. That was 8 years ago and the stuff has held up pretty good.

Wonder if it will help on my mother-in-law's BMW that she keeps running up on curbs..... LOL.
