I debated whether or not to put the emblems on my RK while I did the build...
I personally think the bikes look better with the emblems in place, but thats just my opinion. My wife has brought-up the fact that I put them on like a dozen times, as almost every other vehicle I (we) have owned has had all the emblems removed.
Also, I hope you can figure-out a way to get yours back on if thats what you decide - they are $65.00 each to replace.
I like it and thanks.....I've been thinking about doing the same to my Black RK Custom, now I know what it'll look like. Matches the clean fenders perfect.
Seems to be a personal preference, but tin should be smooth and clean not cluttered up with stickers and pin stripping ect. Thats one of the reasons I bought a Custom.
Since you took the emblem off you might be readyto consider acustom paint job. The best modification that I did for my RKC was the paint job...hands down, and the bike has HD all over it anyhow so I didn't think it was necessary to have the tank emblem any more.Since you recently got the hard bags for your RK it would look awesome to personalize it with custom paint...whaddya think? With or without the tank emblem, your RK looks great.
Naw, Sims don't listen to the haters', it looks good that way. With the new lightbar, the chrome deflectors, and the cool nacelle that we have, I think it looks great.
