Default Vega XTA Touring vs Saddlebag

Ok, so I have a SG which mean I don't have the tour pack which can easily hold any size 1/2 plus 1/2 plus FF, lol. All I have is the saddlebags and as of right now, my Bell Pit Boss does not fit into the saddlebag. When I get to where I am going, its a PITA to take the helmet inside, but it can easily grow legs just sitting on the bike. I have pretty much decided to get the Vega XTA because, one I can get yellow (match the bike and its my fav color), 2 it has speaker pouches built in and with my bike group CB is used every ride and with my current 1/2 I am not happy with J and M shorty style speaker, just uncomfortable. So I am hoping, somebody on here knows the answer to my question, which if I didn't state, since I have a problem with rambling on and on and on, is will the Vega XTA Touring Half Shell Helmet fit in my sadle bag?

Why not go to a local shop and try it?

I know this doesn't answer your question. How about a helmet lock mounted on your crash bar? Or a simple long shank padlock so you can lock the helmet onto the handle bar?

My Vega XTS Naked will fit in saddlebag although I rarely do that. Why don't get this lock instead.

Im waiting for an answer from the company to see if there is a local store with them. I have never looked at the helmet locks. I was just under the impression it lockes to the bike by the chin strap so all they need to do is cut the strap and they have the helmet.
