I talked with the service manager today at the dealer the bike came from . They will have parts on the 28th and will come get mine on e they come in. They are under a no (test) ride, no sell order until they are fixed.

Through this board and a friend. Dealer hasn't called me, and when I called them, they never offered to pick my bike up etc. I suppose customer service is not the same in all HD dealers...

I just had a phone message from MOCO wanting to know how I liked my new motorcycle. My answer would have been..." OH, you mean the one that I just got a recall on yesterday?.... I LOVE IT!"

Default Good Timing

Just cancelled my 2014 Street Glide Special purchase. Don't want the dealer to place a repair kit on a new bike. So ill wait until the end of November for the one I ordered. Good Timing!!

I read it first on this board Wednesday evening. I then received the official email notice from the MoCo at 11:37PM Wednesday. Thursday morning, before I had a chance to call the dealer, they called me. They wanted to pick the bike up that day but it didn't fit my schedule. They picked it up first thing this morning. I was told Monday morning they are expecting parts and inspection instructions from the MoCo. Mine is one of the first to be looked at. I've spent a good amount of money on upgrades with them since I picked the bike up in August and they have always treated me right.

So you'll wait to get one with the same repair kit from the factory.
