Hey guys. Looking for some advice/opinon/pics of the rear end set up that I am thinking about.
I'm looking at putting extended bags and a rear fender my 2013 FLHX. I'm in Canada so DOT regs say I need a center tail light. I was looking at Bad Dad fender with the frenched in tail light and signals. I was originally going to order bags from him too but I like the TopShop Viper bags with the angled bottoms so that I won't be scraping in the turns. The suspension will be staying stock, no lowering or air ride.
Has anyone seen this combo or know if I will have issues lining everything up?

The above fender does not look bad dad. If you are looking for a bad dad pic pm me your email addy and I will shoot you one over. I have done two different setups, both the summit rear fender.
This is probably gonna sound like a stupid question but like I said I am completely new to this. I've also been looking at the Yaffe 8" stretch bags and the Sinister 8" stretch bags and fender kit. Will this be too much for a daily rider? Both sets have the angles cut into the outside lower portion of the bags to make them "more ridable". Does this mean street ridable or just parking lot stuff at bike shows?
I have ordered the Arnott air ride system, 13" with GAST compresssor. I like the look of the extra stretched bags but don't want them draggin every turn i take.
Depends on how you ride. I had 4" stretch bags with air ride that topped out at 14" and still managed to scrap a bag. Floorboards and bags would drag at the same point.
Looks awesome man! So that's a Bad Dad fender right? Are you running stock suspension? Looks lower from the back. Any issues with scraping?
Side note, what height are your bars?
Sorry just getting back to this. The bags and fender are Dirty Bird Concepts (Sinister) No issues on scraping. I have the Legend suspension so yes in the picture its sitting lower than normal. Also my bars are 10".

On my 2012 Street Glide CVO I had Harley Goodies floorboard extensions and I would drag them on occasion.

HMMM This is tempting....I have the Arnott 13" air ride coming and I love the look of that sinister rear end. My concern was that I would tear the bags up every time I ride it.
