I'm sure if you are overly aggressive you could do it but I haven't had any issues with them yet. You would scrap the floorboards before the bags.

Mine are 5" stretched bags from Fairing Factory. The fender cover is from Gator Boxes. It's just a cover --- stock rear fender is still on the bike. Bags are "scalloped/angled" on the bottom, so if I ever scrape these things, I'll be having bigger problems than scraped bags. Also, not an aggressive rider --- I've never scraped a floorboard. Bags & fender cover were less than a grand, shipped. Have to paint them, and need to change the long lightbar to the short Streetglide lightbar. I decided that now was the time to go LED also. The 2 different companies fit together pretty nicely. Lines are just right. Had to "scrape out" the fender a little to make more room for the 4" High Output pipes. I think it came out pretty nice.

Here's my TopShop Viper cuts with Sick Rick rear fender. Everything lined up just fine.

Any issues with the top shop bags cracking? I really wanted to stay away from fibreglass but I want the angle on the bottom of the bags. I've heard really mixed review about fairing factory, mostly bad. Bags take a lot of prep work before paint and don't always fit right.

Ideally I want an injection moulded, stretched bag, with the angled bottoms

How long have you had the Sinister set up? Any issues with fibreglass cracking?
