Want to install a set of true dual headers on my Roadking. I DO NOT want reinharts. I want to be able to put my choice of slip ons on them. What's available out there? I have a Jackpot header right now and I like it but want to go to true duals...I would be willing to trade if anyone out there has a set. Thanks in advance for the advice!
A lot of folks recommend MGS. I went with V&H dresser duals and I kinda wish I went with MGS. Dresser Duals sound GREAT but heat shields are rubbing against the right floor board which is apparently a common problem. Floor board extensions will probably solve it.
What are the pros and cons going to true dual vs 2into2?
I have stock '07 head pipes that I have put Big City Thunder head pipe baffles into and straight piped SE slip on cans. I recently replaced the rear headpipe cause of a crack. I don't want to do that again and my heat shields are looking 7 years old...
I love the way it sounds, and don't want to lose any gains in HP/torque

Cons are supposedly loss of low down torque...Pros for me are that I like how it looks and the sound. I will probably go with the MGS. Now I need to find out if they will sell just the headers...

My personal experience switching from a 2-1-2 is that if you do lose low end ponies, I cant feel it.
I can, however, hear the difference, and I love it!
MGS True Duals are sized larger at the end of their headers (2" I think), so most aftermarket slip-ons will not work with 'em. Or so I think...
I will say that you probably wouldn't be disappointed with their TD cans, however. I've got their "normal" baffles, and love 'em. I'm not deaf after a long run. Others have raved about their "loud" baffles.

Just my $0.02, YMMV.
Dang...They are out too then...I want to do fishtails...Again...
