Ok but what if you didn't know about the recall?
I did not know anything about it until I read it on this forum....
Not everyone watches the news, reads the paper...or looks at a forum.
I did not receive any type of notice whatsoever, true in a few more weeks
it may be more known. Yes I realize that people are still riding that do know....

My dealer called me the day I read about it online!
I am, I called today and asked how my dealer is handling the recall. They are waiting for the parts and service bulletin and then they will be contacting customers...I would not have known otherwise , I read about it here.
Now back to the subject... I am still riding mine.
If I understand it right the parts for Canada will be sent by dog sled or mule train

I have pointed that out a few times. One of our high IQ members told me I was just scared. I guess he was right in a way scared of the litigation that would follow my crash
