Yeah..... It's just 3 parts but, it was all canfy, flake, pearl and a double clear coat with #1 skull graphics, and he does an undercoating and even glues the wiring channels in! He does a core, or the option to allow you to keep your OEM tins...... I am the biggest cheap skate I know. I personally reccomend this dude, he treated me really well, and even changed the paint scheme for me in the first quarter of the job. here is the link to the paintjob, as well as photos on MY actual bike:
I was pretty disappointed in vivid dragon and their lack of response. I sent them a lengthy email describing what I'd like to have done, and even sent them a photo of my bike so they could see it. I asked for price estimates on all the parts required, and they couldn't even respond. They're either really busy, or really lazy. In either case I never heard from them.
If your looking for something custom, I cannot say enough good things about my painter Perry Mallet. I just shipped him the parts and he shipped them back professionally packed. He has done several bikes for me and you might be amazed at how low the price is on a completely custom paint job.

Thanks Craving, are you in the Spokane, WA area, or is he? Thats a short 3 hour ride for me and would be very doable. I'll check him out.
Perry is near the Spokane area (Newport). Great guy and does amazing work for a VERY reasonable price. Give him a call or shoot him an email and tell him Mike sent ya. I am in Houston.
Has anyone ever custom ordered an Electra Glide Ultra, Limited or CVO from MoCo? The wife isn't going to be happy until we add a 2014 Limited to the garage, and I figure if that's what we are going to do, then I'm going to a CVO...but we're not crazy about any of the standard CVO colors.
I see custom color sets on the website, but very limited info other than they are just that, custom.
I suspect that she'll be very happy with it! I know mine was very happy with the 14 Ultra... :-)
I can't work up feeling bad for you though! LOL!
I had a set on my last limited. Paint was top quality. MoCo had been using Gunslinger Custom Paints out of Colorado for their paint sets. I was thinking about getting a set for my '14 but not happy with any of the options.
Well...the CVO is ordered, and I found a little shop that used to be out of Long Beach, Ca that is now located in Austin, Tx that's gonna take it and do some MINOR changes to it and paint it. Since I have a 1995 Wideglide that this shop did in 1996 that the owner has wanted to buy back, we came up with a deal :-)
Should be riding it home from Austin in Febuary of 2014!
