My brother did his Trans Am and it came out nice.. If the fairing is faded then you will need to hit it with some compound. I just did my buddies with some Meguires fine cut then we used their polish. It came out really nice.

I have heard it was really good on dark colors.

I use Malco paint rejuvinator. It is a light polishing compound. Apply a real light coat and buff with a microfiber towel when it dries.

Follow that up with Collonite insulator wax. You will be very happy when you are done

I have a black bike and have been using this stuff after reading positive reviews. It is the only product I've used on this bike so I have nothing to compare it to. Looks great after I spend an hour or so with the product.

I tried it, not impressed. Others swear by it. I stopped buying black bikes so I don't have a need any more. I think you can get better results with a good wax unless you have a lot of scratches. Maybe a light compound and then clay bar with some good wax. Meguiars stuff is very good.

All you need is swirl remover (any brand), a microfiber application pad and some elbow grease.

Have used it and like it OK. Did it by hand and think an orbital polisher would probably be better. Dont particularly care for the detailer they supply with Black Box for touch-ups as it seems hard to get it streak free. For touch-ups I prefer either Mequire Detailer or Lucas Slick Mist.

Not a fan of Turtle products, I much prefer Meguiars products.
