I completely flipped and went with an '07 Electra Glide Classic instead of the Orange Road Glide.....I planned on doing a bunch of stuff swapping out bags, fenders, and what not with my Road King......but I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS THING JUST THE WAY IT IS! I'M NOT CHANGING A THING!
Not going to change a thing????? - I have a case of beer that you will NOT be able to leave it alone...
I have an 04 EGC....and the first thing you'll do...like I did is add "cruise control", then will come'
true duals and exhaust. Then you'll get the king tour pak running/brake light kit.....so you'll have that extra...."see me" at night thing taken care of. Then there's the chrome passenger running board
covers...to dress it up alittle. Maybe, chrome saddle bag racks, or maybe luggage rack for the trunk.
Congrats!!!
Just got my EGC last week, so I know how you feel. Been wanting a Glide since I was 12 years old, and at 45 I've finally gotten one!
Had cruise put on mine before I picked it up, and this week I'm having the tail lights added to the tour trunk like the Ultra has. Slowly adding bits & pieces to make it more "me" but as-is from the factory it's definitely a super machine. Love the power of the 96 engineand 6-speed tranny, and she rides and handles like a dream.
