You guys are right,I forgot to mention that the bike is a 2006 Ultra, under 20,000 Mi.,no accidents and the stand is not bent, damaged or loose and the mechanic at the dealership also said that the bike is leaning too much without any further explanation, just get a new "jiffy stand"!

I bought a 2000 Ultra (new)and it was never lowered or in any accidents.

In 2007, we were touring through Utah and my wife started talking about how far my bike leaned over when it was on the jiffy stand.
After a few days, she swore the bike kept leaning over farther every day.

I finally relented and called the nearest dealer and they said they could have me a new kickstand by the time I could get there on the following day.

We got there and a young tech installed the kickstand while I supported the bike, and the new stand done nothing to make my bike stand up any straighter!

When I returned home, I took the bike in for service, the porter who took my bike into the garage said they my bike was the "heaviest damn bike that he had ever rode"!!!!
I asked the service write-up guy to include that in the work list but the tech said there was nothing wrong my bike.

All I can say is that standing my '13 up off of the jiffy stand feels like a Softail in comparison to my 2000.

Why not post some pics?

Because my bike leaned too far after i put on a 21" front wheel, I installed a wedge. They make two types of wedges, one will raise the bike and one will lower it. Different for pre-09 and after 09 frames. Works great an much less money than an extended stand.

I had one of those bikes and the jiffy stand was so short that the bike leaned over so far that it was sometimes hard to get it upright. At the time, if you called it to their attention they ordered out the proper jiffy stand and installed it for you at no charge. If I am not mistaken you had to have it fixed before your 24 month warranty was up, otherwise you had to cough up the quatro for the fix.
You don't say what year bike you have so this is just a wild *** guess.
I also have a 2009 FLHTCU and the fix wasn't a new stand it was a "wedge" installed between the jiffy stand mount and the frame per a HD service Bulletin.

Sorry to revive an old kick stand (aka jiffy stand) discussion, but since my '06 is still leaning over too much, yesterday I measured another Ultra and the difference between the two bikes (measured from floor to tip of turned handlebar all the way to the left) was 3",mine was 34" the other 37".A big difference from my point of view.Again,no damages to the frame or kick stand and no explanation from the dealer other than "buy a new stand".I would like to try the so called "wedge" that many have installed to make their bike stand more upright but I need a part no.,does any of you guys have this and the service bulletin date and no.Thank you

I should have said "new mount". Wasn't a wedge.

New jiffy stand mount: 50096-09

I know this doesn't help the OP but felt it should be clarified.

Maybe a better fix, plus you will get the benefit of a a jiffy stand that will not sink in the wet grass, is the Brukus Kickshoe. Mr. Brukus is a sponsor of HDForums and makes a good product. I have one on my bike. It's a little over 1/2" thick and will help to sit your bike up much straighter than it is now. Here's a link to the product page on Mr. Brukus's site:

Here's what it looks like on my bike. The newer models attach a little differently than this, but the concept is identical:

Thanks Joe,but Brukus states that their product fits 2007 and newer Touring bikes, mine's an "06.Gotta find info about this elusive "wedge" that looks like it fits older models too.
