Last saturday nite i was woken at 1115 pm. Neighbors witnessed a hit and run on my street glide.
Apparently this punk was playing some music loud standing next to his car smoking and eyeing up my bike, and a neighbor yelled out a window for him to turn it down. said dead man flipped my neighbor off jumped in his car and lined up and backed into my bike 3 times on purpose. As my neighbor was running out to try and kill this idiot for me, he managed to throw a baseball bat at the side of this retards car, denting the back door, as he sped away. Neighbor went to get my buddy cause he thought i was out of town (im a trucker) my buddy comes wakes me up to let me know and take pics.
Cops were called and it was reported, they said they would send a cruiser to take my statement...430 am i get a call from the cops stating that it was a busy night and if i wouldnt mind makeing a statement in person in the morning.
Made the statement, gave witnesses phone numbers etc to police was told basically without a plate number, im screwed. Took bike to insurance on wednesday, and there is 1500 in visible damage.
Bike was pushed sideways on the kickstand, right bag, and supports broken scratched, kickstand bent (but stayed upright, yay MOCO) the thing that really scares me, is the forks and ignition were locked to the left, but when we looked at the bike, the forks were facing right, ignition still locked....bike starts, runs and rides like normal, and is sitting at stealer for winter storage/fix the insurance claim. Dealer did say, once we get into it, that 1500 in damage is going to climb a lot.
the thing that scares me, is i normally fly off the handle, and ive been completely calm and relaxed....thats not normal for me. Thanks for listening to me.
