$16,891 for a brand new 2013 Vivid Black Road King. Cruise Control, ABS, and Security. Standard 12 month HD Warranty. Comes with a $1500 gift card which I would promptly put towards proper pipes.
Brand new, hasn't been shipped yet. As long as I have my $300 refundable deposit in nobody else is going to snag it.
The only two colors available were vivid black and midnight pearl. I couldn't really justify the extra dough towards such a similar color, so I'm leaning towards the vivid black. The hard part is deciding whether or not to take on the payment. The interest rate will be between 2.39% and 4.89% depending on my credit score and how long I finance the bike for. Between $230 and $275 a month for 5 or 6 years is what it will come out too. I will only finance $15,000 of it.
the extra for the color should be worth it , how many black ones do you see? I'd go the 14 anyway . I would have took a left over '11 black RK until I saw a '12 Teq/orange. It was the worth the $4500 more to have the classic in orange to me.

That's only $2200 above the invoice, so I think you're getting a great deal considering you're also getting the gift card, and what the cost is with the added dealer fees.

Nice.
No dealer's fees. The freight is already in the price. The only thing extra not in the price is the dreaded sales tax, registration, and insurance.
I have a set of Rush slip-ons from my '07 night train that are taking up space in the garage. Will they fit right on the Road King? If they do I would like to use that $1500 towards other stuff like bars, back rests, luggage rack, etc. I'm not worried about performance. I have a Yamaha FZ1 for speed.
What other goodies can I get with the $1500? I'm only thinking of comfort at this point, but maybe I'm overlooking something.
That sounds like a screamin deal. I've been looking for a friend and can't come anywhere close to that price locally. At least now we know it can be done if the dealer wanted to.
