Just curious. With my Garmin Zumo and Lifetime Updates I get an update 4 times a year. Any idea what GPS updates on the new bikes will cost, or how often they'll come out?
The best information that I have found is you have to upgrade your maps through Navi-Extras which the Harley website has a link to it.
It appears that they have a once a year update and the cost is $149.00 for the update each time.
I installed my Zumo 665 on my new limited as I have already paid for lifetime maps for it and probably will not update the Harley Boombox unit very often. I do like the Boombox 6.5GT Map Display a lot better than the Zumo though, I can actually see the screen, brighter and darn hear Hi-Definition quality compared to the Zumo.
I been looking into that myself and found that there is an adaptor 3.5mm male to usb male,I wonder if that will work. If someone has already tried this please post the information.
Has anyone been able to download a custom route from Harley Rideplanner to the GPS on the new limited? I have been trying to get some tech support from HD but without any luck.
