I recently purchased a hog tunes tweeter pod. I have a Sony Head unit and Boom audio speakers on my Street Glide.
I was just wondering if anyone has installed this tweeter pod with the Boom audio speakers. The difference in sound is just about unnoticeable. Maybe I am missing the boat but has anyone installed this tweeter pod with those speakers and have been satisfied with the sound or even a noticed difference at all.
You may think the tweeters are not doing anything, but they are,
they are not loud, as a bass or mid range speaker may be, but it you went into your audio settings and dialed them off, you would notice the difference, especially at speed.
you may want to bump your treble settings up a bit.
Doesn't the Boom speakers come with tweeters? I purposely installed Polk DXI 6500 6.5" component speakers without tweeters and use Hawg Wired gauge tweeters. I can tell they are separate from the component speakers.

How does that sound? Are the speakers wrapped in poly, or in small enclosures? Sorry to wake this thread up, but getting ready for spring!
