Engine mods
from my experience, performance packages are the way to go! i've had good luck with harley's screaming eagle products! what's nice is they take the quess work out of performance, buy this package and you get this much horsepower! cheers from montana
Not sure if you're asking what mods or what brands so....Usually different headers, mufflers, air cleaner, and a tuner of some sort with possible dyno tune. As for brands, there's all types! It's more of personal preference but I would suggest not to just jump on the first thing someone mentions. Do some research while you save up money and call manufacturers and get their input. Of course they will try to make the sale but just take your time. There are countless threads on it and You Tube videos as well as other forums with ppl talking about brands. I'm sure someone will chime in with the usual"Go to a bike night and listen to other people's", which is okay advice but not always that easy....I live in Vegas and there are a lot of those too rich for their own good ppl who buy what someone else recommends and don't even know what they have or tell you they have something when they clearly don't. Either way, be patient, do your homework, talk to Indies, service guys, etc. Hope this helps
As noted Exhaust, intake and a tuner is a must and then cams. I had Fueling 574 cams in my Road Glide and loved them. Sounded awesome and really picked up the performance.

For me, the best part about doing cams is that you can taylor the way the engine runs to suit your riding style. I like zipping through the twisties so I went with cams that have peak torque at 2400 rpms. They work great for tight back roads with lots of elevation changes. Stage 1 makes it look and sound the way you want, stage 2 makes it perform the way you want.
