Default Audio Question

I have a 09 UC that has a detachable tour pack during the warm weather I ride with the tour pack off. Awhile back I added HD lower faring speakers which I connected into the factory rear speakers plugs...I just recently put my tour pack back on and would like to know how to run all 6 speakers at the same time but still able to remove my tour pack during warm weather. Anyone one have any suggestion I would assume I need to add a amp but which one and what would be the best way to install it... Thanks in advance

What exactly do you have? Stock everything? What's in the lowers?

I would get a Rockford fosgate PBR 2 channel amp and run it in series (to make 4 ohms) to the fairing and lower speakers from the front channel outputs and run the rear speakers off the stock radio rear outputs since ya don't use them as much. Don't know what speakers ya have or if they will handle an amp? You'll find out and upgrading is easy. Check out the audio section! Good luck!

if you are running stock HK head unit, you need Boom!™ Audio Speaker Expansion Kit P/N 76000263 to allow a third pair of speakers (6 total) and Dealer Digital Technician software update is required.
I have no experience with removing 2 of the speakers (remove tourpak) after these upgrades are done and the end result.

I have a complete hog tunes system front, rear, tweeter pod, and lower woofers, 40x4 amp, and 70x2 amp. if I had to do it over I probably would go a different route but am very happ with the system I have, anyway I run the front, rear, and tweets off of the 40x4 and the lowers off of the 70x2 as per hogtunes. I take my lowers off during the hot season(which I miss the lower speakers) and all I have to do isunplug the speakers(I have + and- plugs inline) and pull the fuse out of the 70x2 amp only downside is I have to pull the fairing but have done it so many times I can R&R the fairing in about 10 minutes.
