No, I'm not trying to start a thread about the merits of pants vs. chaps or to attract the seemingly unavoidable Village People references. God knows we've all read enough of those.
But for those of you that DO have chaps, I found this a couple years ago and it is a really cool way to compress your chaps into a small, neat, easily stowable bundle using only the chaps own snaps. No need for separate straps or ties that can get lost or mislaid. I think it is a cool trick and thought I would share it with those who don't already know it. http://www.caimag.com/wordpress/2011...orcycle-chaps/ My wife's chaps turn into a really small package and even my large sized ones turn into a bundle that stays together and is much smaller in the saddle bags than just rolling them up.
I tried this one time but it didnt work to well with the insulated ones!!!
Mine have Thinsulate lining and the first time I tried it a few years ago, I had a problem making it work also. After the chaps are broken in and more pliable, it works just fine, even with lined ones.
