Default deer whistle

My 76 year old dad had been tinkering with his toy and asked me to come get it and clean it before i put it away for him, I went to pick it up and find this lol

From the pic you posted, that whistle needs air flow to work, speaking of that, there are posts out there that proves they do not work, even the electronic ones ( I have one and it dont work) The only way to avoid the damn deer is to drive slow and alert.

It's really a little worse than that . Those whistles have been shown to attract more deer than the scare off. Same as honking the horn, all you've done is further confuse them and they will run toward the light...
