I seen a couple similar pieces of windshield trim at some rallys but they were rather repetitive and boring so I decided to come up with my own design and cut them out on the laser machine. Tell me what you think about it. I want to sell them on ebay. The basic trim piece that Harley sells goes for $75 and the flame ones I saw at the rallies sell for $125. What sounds fair to you guys since you are the intended buyers of such a product?
This one is brushed aluminum which you could paint to match but also have some in mirrored stainless which you would not have to worry about polishing chrome.
Nice lookin product there but unless its a Harley authorized product ain't you worried about putting Harley copyrighted emblem on the piece. Just wondering...
As for me, I would buy one if the price was reasonable. And no, I don't know what reasonable is when it comes to Harley stuff...[]
I am told the pics are not coming through from the way I posted them. I can not get to photobucket at work so I would appreciate it if one of the mods could fix the post so they show up.
As far as the Harley emblem I know there would be problems. I could put pretty much anything there. I thought maybe an iron cross or skull or nothing at all. I could even put a name.
I am thinking if I could get $85 a piece I would be happy.
I see the pics just fine. I would prolly pay around $85ish for something like that. Looks really good and depending on your skill with the center design you can do just about anything people want or you can come up with some predetermined designs that you will do and then go a little extra for a custome design.
Looks good. Priced right. Personally, I would insist on the bar and sheild for my bike. I understand that it may be trouble to use such an image, but in the form you have pictured.....it's a winner!
