My 6.5 works with both the iPod and the memory stick, I can select playlists on both, toggle songs and see album art. Its all how you set it up.

When your iPod is playing, R stick up, then right to the MENU screen

On the left side the top option has a + with a round arrow, and will read PRESETS, highlight that option and click the RIGHT STICK, it will change to SEEK

Exit or go back to your iPod song screen, then you can bump the LEFT STICK forward or back to skip songs.
Thank you that worked

1. A make shift playlist on a memory stick - Use the search (e.g. Search by Artise, albums or whatever, select all songs, then save as a favorite).

2. Make a hierarchy directory structure of your music on the memory stick. This would represent your play list.

Yup!

As to the iPod question, I've got an older ,gen 5 maybe, 32g iPod. The left thumb controls last/next song and volume....or push for home screen. You may need to rebuild you iPod db or update it with iTunes. Sometimes, after awhile, all of the remote control functions can get a little iffy in the iPod and this can help.

On my 6.5 Boom Box I can do the following:
Using my Iphone via USB connection I can see Album art onscreen but cannot bump songs.

If I Bluetooth the iPhone I can bump w/Left Joystick but no album art.

I've also tried (and failed) at USB-ing my Iphone to the Boombox and Then Bluetoothing my LG730 to the Iphone and bumping that way with no luck.

No worries, that's what this place is all about....

Took me half a day riding to figure out why the on the Limited 6.5 would not bump select with the left stick, but the Street Glide Special would.

On the 6.5 boom box (2014 Tri Glide) I am trying to access my iphone 4S. I can do everything (make calls, see phone book, No text) but can not receive or see text messages if I go in as Blue Tooth. If I connect it to the USB port I don't seem to be able to get it to do anything.... I can play Pandora via Blue Tooth, but nothing if plugged to the USB. When I use Blue Tooth it shows my phone and I can highlight it and go. If I hook it to the USB I never see the USB symbol anywhere (it says "John iPhone) but I can not access anything.
Any ideas or help would be great. I have ATT and when I hook to the uSB it reads that it is charging
Thanks
Cloud

Sorry I haven't done anything with my phone since I use an ipod and sat radio I figured no point in linking the phone unless I have a headset.
