I don't like either one. I got the Charcoal Pearl/Vivid Black. I don't like the idea of the lighter color on the bottom. If they reversed it and put the silver on the top and the gray on the bottom, THAT I might like. But I still like mine better.

I like the silver only. by far. When I'm on the fence on color, I would ask my salesman which color will bring the higher trade value in a couple years. They will tell you which colors appraise higher, trust me color does matter.

not fond of the whiskey so between the 2 I'd get the silver/gray. I bet it's the easiest to keep clean looking also. Darker colors show dust bad.

A member posted a thread a few days ago and was considering the gray/silver until his girlfriend said it looked like asphalt. Don't want to blend in with the road.
The salesman suggested the whiskey/black. I have a black RKC and am too familiar with troubles of keeping it looking good. Don't want black, even on part of the bike.
I agree that the whiskey should be on the bottom, but corporate rarely seem to offer colors on the touring models that excite anyone or in a scheme I like. Since I prefer a colors that go against the preference of most others, I'm leaning toward the whiskey/silver. Will be talking to my CU tomorrow. Thanks for the input.

I wanted the Vivid Black, until I saw the Charcoal/silver up close. It looks so much better in person. Hard to go wrong either way though...
