How low do the shotgun shocks go? I have my 13 Road King lowered 3" in the back right now and love the look but want to be able to raise it up a bit when the lady jumps on. Plus I'm headed to Sturgis this year and a comfortable ride sounds good lol.

Also do they have a handlebar switch mount? I cant tell where the switch is mounted in the videos I've seen but it seems like it would be easier to adjust on the go if the switch was on the bars?

the shocks almost put you right on bump stop all the way down.the switch comes on a nice little bracket that bolts to the horn on side of bike.barely even notice it.you don need a switch on bars cause they are so easy to adjust.best money spent.

For $1750 it should include a handlebar switch and an air gauge.

9 3/4" is the height when slammed. With a 16" wheel the bike wills till ride. 13" at full height. An air gauge would need to be 2 gauges on this system which is why it does not have one. Handlebar switch is what it is but I think that clutters up the bars. The discreet location of the switches (there are two) by the horn works great as long as you are not afraid to take a hand off the bar while moving.

With a little ingenuity you can put the switches elsewhere. People put them on the side of the dash or drill the switch housings and put the inside there.

I put the SS on my 94 Softail. It's the best mod I've done. And JD was giving a discount to forum members.

I like the air gauge it gives you consistant settings and when you finally like a specific spot you can get back to it plus from experience it lets you know if the system is leaking which I guess you find out sooner or later lol.

The air gauge isn't really necessary though, and to be honest, it would really be cluttered.

Remember what Hogpro mentioned. With the Shotguns, you can pressurize both sides of the piston in the shock. So, you would need two air gauges, one for the upper side of the piston, and one for the lower.

I have the shotgun on my 97 evo softail.. I just go by feel when I ride,, wouldnt mess with a gauge. It would just be something to break down the road or leak lol...If I ever have the extra money (will never happen) I would buy the product in a heart beat for my ultra..
