Hook them to the battery and feed them down by the transmission and wire tie it to the O2 sensor wires on the right side. Be careful not to route over the frame where the seat will wear on the wires.

Red to pos. & white or black to neg on the battery. Avoid, by all means, running the harness over the the seat bearing area, as 0NEDOWNAND5UP posted.
I have mine cable tied very tight to the frame down tubes on both the Dyna & the bagger with black ties & you can't see it there unless you are looking for it.

The 3 vertical wire looms, the battery tender wire is the right most one, the narrow one with the flexible black conduit. I then looped up the excess wire, ran it under the battery box to the right side cover area (left in the photo), tied it off to an existing wire so the end stuck out where it was accessible and secure. Make sure you put the tender wire ends between the battery cables and bolts and not between the cables and battery, or you will not get a good ground.

On my 2014 Limited, the stock battery tender wire comes out of the left side panel top/rear just under the seat.

Same on my 14 SGS. What a pain in the rear!

If you open the left saddle bag, it's very easy to get to.

Agreed, so I installed one on the opposite side where I had one on my '11 SG. Nicely hidden now behind the brake lines for ABS and all.

I just wanted to see how you guys ran the wires after they were hooked up, so they didn't interfere with the seat and top of battery. Not a big deal. That's what I get for cleaning up the shed

I ran the pigtail for the heated gear from the battery toward the rear of the bike and I bring it up through the left hand side of the slot in the seat where the driver's backrest would go. I have the dual controller clipped on my jacket pocket and I just reach around to connect to the pigtail behind me. I also put a "Y" connector onto the end of the pigtail so I connect a passenger's gear. When not in use the wire just sits in the seat slot.
