C&C solo with backrest, with removable passenger pillion and without backrest.
Awesome seat, very comfortable on long rides, great company to deal with.

How does the pillion mount. Can you show us pics of the bottom of the pas pillion. I'd love to see it.

Sorry, I dont have a picture and my bike is stored for the winter in a friends hangar.
The seat has 4 soft suction cups on the bottom. It has a tab that slides under the main seat then it is fastened at the rear in the existing bolt hole in the rear fender.
The suction cups leave no marks on the paint and it comes on and off in seconds.

Ok cool. And the fitment is good. I'm really considering that same seat to give me solo riding and a nice pillion for the girl when touring.

So the suction cups keep it from scratching the fender and the fastener bracket holds it down good?

How tall are you. I was looking to get it made 2" back and an inch lower.

Another vote for C&C. Done many 8+ hour days w/ this seat. It's good. When touring I use a forward-located chopped Tour Pak, which becomes my backrest. Very nice setup.

C&C customizes seats and has many materials options. I went w/ leather. Note that stitching in the seat may provide a path for water to get below the covering.

Had a D. Gray Buttcrak first. Looked cool but it had no backrest so I always felt like I was going to slide off the back. Gotta have a backrest.

No scratches, just make sure the fender is real clean before you put it on, fits good and solid.

I'm 6'1" and I have the standard seat and it fits me fine.

I also have a chopped tour pack on a forward mount for touring that is a nice backrest.

I went with C&C solo, also with matching passenger pillion, backrest for rider and passenger and matching banana pad for the tourpak.

I've seen a few companies that offer them but I'm wondering how comfortable they are & is it worth it just to look cool?
I also realize width in a seat makes comfort & some of the solo seats appear to be narrow looking despite having extra padding.
Any advise or suggestions would be appreciated and photos would be great too if possible.
Thanks all
What year is your bike. Have a friend that is selling a perfect condition Mustang solo with backrest. It will fit 97-07 RK and some others I think.
